Day-To-Day Administration:

Baraka has employed three Caretakers to manage the Children. The caretakers handle domestic duties at the home, hygiene, essential functions and operations. Baraka also employed a Security Guard for the Girls Section.

Milestones To-Date:

• Providing a Home, Education, Health Care, Social/ Basic needs for 32 children living in Baraka
• Supporting 8 Children in Primary and Secondary Education and College through our home based program
• Boy's Dormitory is constructed, furnished and functional
• Poultry Project is initiated and progressing
• Acquired a second hand Nissan Van to facilitate basic Logistics needs

Conclusion:

An orphan is a child with multiple disadvantages. It therefore takes time to accommodate him or her in the new settings.

The children face stigmatisation in school, in the neighbourhood and in the society at large. We as a community bear the responsibility of providing shelter and security for these children.
