Martin was born sometime in 1992.

After both the parents died, he and his sister become homeless and they re-located to live in their rural home with relatives.

Here they were faced with extreme poverty and endured alot of hardships in their quest for bare survival.

Out of sheer desperation, Martin returned to the city, where he hardly knew anyone, to look for a home to stay. After many months of daily hardships and struggle, he found his way to Baraka Children's Home.

Martin loves playing football and reciting poetry.
